Renbi is built by an N3-ish immersion learner from the Refold / TheMoeWay tradition, for the stall point that comes after a year of input: you can follow native podcasts and slice-of-life shows, but you still freeze the moment a conversation actually starts. Most AI tutors are aimed at beginners or pronunciation drills. Renbi is the tool we wished existed — a calm voice partner, a persistent character, and feedback that waits until the conversation is over so it doesn't break the flow.

What Renbi is, and what it isn't.

Renbi is a Japanese conversation practice tool. You talk to a fictional AI character (currently Yuki) in Japanese, in your browser. After the conversation, Renbi gives you a short feedback pass: corrections, more natural phrasing, and a pattern to try next time.

Renbi is not a certified language school, a tutor marketplace, a companion app, or a roleplay platform. AI characters are fictional and not based on any real person; voices are generic synthetic text-to-speech, not cloned from anyone.
