1. What This Policy Covers

This policy explains how Renbi uses cookies and similar technologies across our marketing site (renbi.app) and our application (talk.renbi.app). It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

2. Our Approach

We keep cookies to a minimum. Today, Renbi uses only strictly necessary cookies— the cookies required to keep the Service secure and working. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not allow third parties to track you across other websites for marketing purposes.

3. Cookies We Use

Strictly necessary — marketing site (renbi.app). Our hosting provider may set essential cookies needed to serve the site securely and reliably. We also store a small preference that remembers you have seen our cookie notice, so we do not show it on every visit.

Strictly necessary — application (talk.renbi.app). When you sign in, our authentication provider (Clerk) sets cookies that keep you logged in and protect your session. These are required for the app to function — without them you cannot stay signed in. During checkout, our payment processor may set cookies needed to process the transaction securely and prevent fraud.

4. Analytics (Not Currently Active)

We are evaluating privacy-respecting product analytics to understand how the Service is used and to improve it. This is not active today, and no analytics or tracking cookies are set on the marketing site at this time. If and when we enable analytics that rely on non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and, where required by law, ask for your consent through a cookie banner before any such cookies are set.

5. What We Do Not Do

  • We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies.
  • We do not sell your personal data.
  • We do not allow third-party advertisers to track you across the web.

6. Managing Cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies on the application may prevent you from signing in or completing a purchase. Most browsers let you block or clear cookies under their privacy or security settings.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date, and where a change introduces non-essential cookies, we will seek consent where required.
